Canberra Region Attachment Network
Who are we?
The Canberra Region
Attachment Network Inc. has
evolved from an informal group of
professionals working with children
and families, who had been
exploring these issues from an
attachment perspective.
A collective need was identified for professional development to increase our understanding of
attachment theory and its
implications for our work in child
protection, education, substitute
care, family support, mental health,
legal decision making and childcare.
What we do
The two goals of the network are:
- To provide quality, accessible professional development from an attachment perspective for a broad range of workers involved with the well being of children and families
- To encourage the development of a
professional dialogue among
workers by sharing knowledge and
building networks, both within and
outside the ACT region.
